Request a Giving Packet
Many thanks to our generous corporate sponsors for Team Triple R and the March 28th NAMIWalk.
Help is a click away. Whenever doing an on-line search, we sure would appreciate it if you used GoodSearch! Use it once and type in Triple R Behavioral Health, Inc. as the charity of your choice, then each search you do benefits Triple R. where else can you donate without ever reaching into your own pockets?
It's quite easy... either go to www.goodsearch.com before each search, OR just install the toolbar and there it will be, just waiting for your next search. It's powered by Yahoo. Use it to find directions, old school firends, nutritional information for that large fry you just had, information about that weird noise your air-conditioner is making, where can I take painting classes? It's all there... and it all helps support our efforts!
FOOD FOR THOUGHT: If you did just one search and told two people, they each did just one search and told two people and so-on, in just 30 days, we'd have over $10 Million that we could use to support education, employment and independence goals for our clients!

Ahhhhh, shopping. You may love it, you may h ate it, but pretty soon- you're going to need or want something. Please consider using www.GoodShop.com. Before your next purchase, visit GoodShop, there you'll find a huge list of popular retailers, click on the retailer and start shopping. When you choose Triple R as your charity of choice, we'll get a percentage of your purchase. Book vacations (airline, hotel, car rental, etc.). Send flowers, purchase tools, stuff for the home... you name it, you can find it. Just think, the next time you are walking through your home and see that bobblehead you found on Ebay, that laptop from Dell, that bedspread from Walmart or that ladder from Home Depot, you'll know that those purchases helped support someone's recovery goals!
tax advantages
There are many tax advantages to supporting Triple R.
Individuals can realize the benefits to charitable giving by making up to a $200 donation if filing taxes as a single or up to $400 if filing jointly. Residents of Arizona can use Az form 321 to receive the full amount of their donation back as a tax credit.

DEDUCTION vs. CREDIT
What's the difference? A deducation helps to determine your final taxable income. A credit is a reduction in your tax liability - so, if you're getting a refund, you'll also get back the credit amount. If you owe, the credit is aplied to what you owe, decreasing the amount you'll later have to pay. Eligibility for taking advantage of the credit is based on prior years charitable giving, so please consult a tax professional with questions.
benefits for employers
Employers can partner with Triple R and hire skilled workers receiving Triple R employment services, realizing tax advantages with the Work Opportunity Credit, incentives for improving accessibility, ADA adaption credits and deductions, small business credit for disabled access, etc.

leave a legacy
You've worked hard, and as such, may be in a position to help others who are also working hard. Many find themselves in a position to change people's lives and can do so through planned giving, donations, and charitable trusts and endowments. When estate planning, please consider Triple R Behavioral Health. You may direct where your money goes or have it directed annually to where the need is the greatest. Our success stories and personal stories of inspiration couldn't happen without financial support. Resource development is key to Triple R's ability to continue to provide services that enhance life and recovery, support education and employment goals, impact our community and transform lives.
We can't thank you enough for taking the time to learn more about the work we do. We invite you to contact us should you have any questions, desire a tour, or would like more informaiton about what your donation would mean to those we serve.
corporate partnership
and you don't even have to write a check!
A trusted valley company. For over 35 years, that's what we've been. We happen to be a 501(c)(3) non-profit, delivering services to adults with mental illness - but, like you, we are a business; fiscally sound, responsible to our community, and always looking for partnerships with mutual benefits.
Take a moment to consider the benefits of partnering with a respected non-profit. Tax advantages as well as great corporate citizenship can be a boost to your marketing efforts, employee morale, recruitment strategies, and overall bottom-line. And it genuinely couldn't be easier. As a behavioral health provider, we see lives transformed daily. We realize that mental illness impacts 1 in 4, but is still clouded by stigma. We'd like to imagine a world where people weren't afraid to disclose their illness, hesitant to seek help, ashamed. There's no crime in having heart disease, diabetes or cancer. Likewise, mental illness is not a sin, it's a disease like any other. Helping us to educate the community, making effective mental health treatment obtainable for those who typically have no voice, is well within your reach.
You do not need to reach into your pocket, there are many ways to help:
OLD/NEW HOLIDAY DECORATION COLLECTION: Each year during the holidays, we find we've lost lights and decorations to age. As a partnery agency to Triple R, you could help get the word out to your staff that we are looking for donations, even have a designated space with a cardboard box for donations. When people are changing their color schemes, updating their lights, etc., we'd be happy to take the old working ones and use them in one of our many residential or rehab programs, helping to make the holidays bright for all.
EMPLOYEE JEANS DAY: Example- maybe one Friday a month, even quarterly, employees can wear jeans (or Hawaiian shirts, or gear to support their team) with a $1 or $5 donation to Triple R (supporting employment and education programs for adults in their community). It can even be payroll deducted and donated periodically in one lump sum. Donors receive letters of thanks that can be used as a receipt for tax purposes. The type of day, date, and donation amount are up to you!
UNIQUE TRAINING OPPORTUNITY: Triple R teaches a unique course that simulates the hearing voices experience. Understanding, if just for an hour, what it's like to live with a psychiatric disability, totally changes people's perspective. They find what it's like to walk a mile in the shoes of someone who hears voices and they realize that these are some of the strongest, bravest people. We are happy to talk about bringing this class to your site. We've offered this training to the community, media, and courts for eight years - the feedback is nothing short of tremendous.
EMPLOYMENT: Do you have an entry level or hard to fill position? We know someone who wants to do a great job for you! Hiring adults with disabilities has many advantages... some financial (tax advantages can be found above), another- guaranteed coverage. Our staff members trains for the position, and then brings in the member. We train them and offer support until they are comfortable and you are happy. We step aside and they work for you. Now you have a great employee AND if for any reason they can no longer fulfill their dutieis, we come back in and fill the job at NO COST to you (remember, we're already trained for it), until we can train someone else. Other employment opportunities exist - we are happy to discuss them with you!
EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS: Promote a payroll deduction or even a dinner at one of many local restaurants on a predetermined night when a percentage of the proceeds go to Triple R services.
SEARCHING ON-LINE / SHOPPING: Help us promote our relationship with GoodSearch.com and GoodShop.com. By installing the GoodSearch toolbar on all of your work computers, everytime an employee searches the web (powered by Yahoo!), we get a penny. It doesn't sound like much - but if one person did it today and they told one person who did it tomorrow, and the trend continued, after a month, we'd earn over $10 million to support education, employment and residential services in the valley. You could further help us by letting people know that they can also use this to search from home.
And let's not forget, GoodShop: While searching is something many have to do at working, shopping typically isn't. But for those that do as part of their job description (office supplies, booking flights, computers and equipment, etc.) shopping GoodShop supports Triple R programs. For everyone else, we will work with you so you can send email reminders to your staff at holidays, Mother's Day, Vaneltines Day, etc., that by purchasing gifts, flowers, even booking a vacation (air or hotel), they are supporting recovery goals for their neighbors.
LOGO ON A T-SHIRT: Each year, Triple R shows up in a huge way to support the National Alliance on Mental Illness. With a 5K held each year in March, our team of over 150 walkers wear walk shirts with corporate sponsor logos. For only $200, you can have your logo on these shirts, our website, and be recognized in our Annual Report.
EVENT SPONSOR: First, the good news - our number of graduates in our Supported Education program is growing! Now, the bad news... WHERE do we hold a ceremony? We used to be able to hold it in our large conference room, now we need a larger space. Maybe you have a space? Maybe you want to sponsor the graduation, the venue, program/invitation printing or light refreshments? More good news: We are pretty flexibly and accustomed to being quite creative! If education is important to you or your organization - or an integral part of your mission, show the community how committed you are by working with us to make it a special event for our graduates.
As you can see, the possibilities for support are nearly endless and you truly don't have to write a check to make a difference. Contact Director of Community Relations, Alicia M. Brown today, even if you don't know how you can help or what resources you have to help. We'll find something you're comfortable with, support your efforts with promotional materials, help with press releases, etc.
