GENERAL SUMMARY:

As a member of the vocational team, provides and coordinates the employment related services in Triple R Behavioral Health programs. Interacts with community businesses to develop individual job opportunities for clients and provides community-based job coaching support as needed. Performs professional services, assisting clients in all vocational areas of need. Provides education and skill training to assist clients to obtain and maintain employment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1.   Works with clients to obtain and maintain community employment. Develops employment opportunities for clients based on identified work goal. Identifies and works with community employers to develop individual placements to meet the needs of the client.
  2.   Performs and oversees job coaching duties according to established guidelines (contract/procedures) and provides support to clients regarding Social Security benefits.
  3.   Completes all documentation according to established procedures and timelines, including all program reports and monitoring contractual agreements.
  4.   Provides education to employers regarding ADA Laws (Americans with Disabilities Act), stigma of mental illness, and benefits of hiring person with mental illness, negotiating reasonable accommodation as needed.
  5.   Provides individual and group skill development and training to enhance independent living and community integration (e.g., resume writing and interview skills development, job search skills, personal hygiene, problem solving, bus training, and budgeting).
  6.   Monitors client behaviors, symptoms, and activities, assisting/facilitating crisis intervention and conflict resolution as appropriate, reporting any changes to referral sources in a timely manner.
  7.   Under supervision, develops, documents, and evaluates treatment plans with clients.
  8.   Interfaces with referral sources, advocating for vocational rehabilitation services.
  9.   Attends all required training, meetings, and supervisions.
10.   Performs other duties as assigned, including responsibility for coordinating program activities, committee membership, transportation of members, Triple R Behavioral Health representation at selected functions, etc.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  1.   Ability to work effectively as a member/leader of a psychosocial rehabilitation team.
  2.   Ability to communicate with clients, co-workers, employers, family members, case managers, and other community stakeholders in a courteous and professional manner.

  5.   Knowledge of behavioral health and vocational rehabilitation practices and procedures.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION AND LICENSES:

Masters degree in a related field (e.g., Rehabilitation Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Education, etc.) and documentation of one (1) year full-time employment working with individuals with disabilities; or
Bachelors degree in a related field (e.g., Rehabilitation Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Education, etc.) and documentation of two (2) years full-time employment working with individuals with disabilities; or
High school diploma or GED and documentation of five (5) years full-time employment working with individuals with disabilities, preferably involved in the provision of vocational rehabilitation services.
Current and valid Arizona drivers license and good MVR

GENERAL SUMMARY:

As part of an interdisciplinary team, provides rehabilitation and therapeutic activities according to clients' treatment plans, assisting in the development of and implementation of individual treatment plans, and performing a variety of tasks to maintain the orderly function of the residential program.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1.   Provide individual and group training in independent living skills (i.e., personal hygiene, problem solving, housekeeping, budgeting, grocery shopping, and meal planning and preparation).
  2.   Monitors client's behaviors, symptoms, activities, and assisting/facilitating crisis intervention and conflict resolution as appropriate.
  3.   Manages clients' medication supplies, supervising the client's self-administration of medications and medicine packet maintenance.
  4.   Under supervision, develops, documents and evaluates treatment plans with clients.
  5.   Oversees the safety and well-being of clients by providing assistance in living area maintenance, such as cleaning, performing apartment, bed, and safety checks, and safety drills (when directed).
  6.   Completes all documentation according to established procedures and timelines.
  7.   Attends all required trainings, meetings, and supervisions.
  8.   Provide client transportation to facilitate treatment plan implementation.
  9.   Perform general office and/or program duties, such as new resident orientation, supply ordering, and office area cleaning.
10.   Performs other duties as assigned, including safety liaison, committee membership, van maintenance and upkeep, and Triple R Behavioral Health, Inc. representation at selected functions, etc.
